Quito → Amazon Jungle
UIO → Coca (OCC) or Lago Agrio (LGQ)
The standard way into the Ecuadorian Amazon. A 30-minute flight that replaces a long road journey, followed by a river transfer to your lodge.
Mainland → Galápagos
UIO / GYE → Baltra (GPS) or San Cristóbal (SCY)
All Galápagos flights depart from Quito or Guayaquil, most stopping in Guayaquil on the way. About 2 hours over the Pacific. Operated by Avianca and LATAM.
Internal Ecuadorian flights are short, well organized and usually affordable when booked in advance. Galápagos flights require an INGALA transit card and a national park entry fee, both handled at the airport.
